Frank McCulloch and Major League Baseball Hall of Fame Inductee and World War II Navy veteran Bob Feller swap sea stories at Jacobs Field before the start of the Major League Baseball game between the Indians vs. Toronto Blue Jays. Cleveland Sailors are in their ship's namesake town for Cleveland Navy Week festivities. Twenty-six such Navy Weeks are planned this year in cities throughout the U.S., arranged by the Navy Office of Community Outreach (NAVCO). In a pre-game ceremony, McCulloch and Sailors from CLEVELAND's crew retired and presented Feller with an Indians "Chief Wahoo" logo flag that has been flown aboard CLEVELAND for nearly a decade. In gratitude, Feller presented McCulloch with a new Indians flag on behalf of the city of Cleveland and the entire Indians organization. The CLEVELAND Sailors are in their ship's namesake town for Cleveland Navy Week, which runs Aug. 28-Sep. 4. Twenty-six such Navy Weeks are planned this year in cities throughout the U.S., arranged by the Navy Office of Community Outreach (NAVCO).
