English: San Antonio, Texas (Nov. 8, 2006) -Cmdr. Brad Lee, commanding officer of USS San Antonio (LPD 17) places his cap on six year-old girl at Methodist Children's Hospital, making her an honorary ship's commander for a day. Lee and several members of the crew from San Antonio visited kids at area hospitals, part of the Caps for Kids program, handing out ball caps, coins and sharing personal shipboard experiences. The crew is in San Antonio participating in the final of 24 Navy Weeks carried out in 2006. Navy Week is sponsored by the Navy Office of Community Outreach (NAVCO) and is coordinated with local recruiting districts.
