English: PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii (June 27, 2008) Chief Culinary Specialist Joseph Macias climbs the Alpine Tower during a chief petty officer (CPO) and CPO board eligible first class petty officer physical training session aboard Naval Station (NAVSTA) Pearl Harbor. The Alpine Tower facility is part of Morale, Welfare and Recreation's Outdoor Adventure Center and consists of three courses; Alpine Tower, Carolina Wall and Lower Course. Each course is designed to strengthen teamwork, communication and leadership skills while providing a unique alternative to physical training.
