English: ARABIAN SEA (May 17, 2009) Capt. Ted R. Williams, executive officer of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), welcomes the King of Bahrain, His Majesty the King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to Dwight D. Eisenhower during an historic port visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Dwight D. Eisenhower is the first Nimitz-class aircraft carrier to dock at the newly-completed Khalifa bin Salman Port. The Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility as part of a scheduled deployment supporting Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom as well as maritime security operations.
