Description
English: ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (Oct. 10, 2009) Blair Kaufman, center, guides his hot air balloon, Sun Dagger, off the ground at a sunrise mass hot air balloon ascension during the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Inside the gondola with Kaufman is Cmdr. Mike Badorf, left, commanding officer of the Los Angeles-class attack submarine USS Albuquerque (SSN 706), and Lt. Jemar Ballesteros, also assigned to Albuquerque. Badorf and Ballesteros were in Albuquerque supporting Albuquerque Navy Week, one of 21 Navy Weeks planned across America for 2009. Navy Weeks are designed to showcase the investment Americans have made in their Navy and increase awareness in metropolitan areas that do not have a significant Navy presence.
