English: JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Oct. 26, 2009) President Barack Obama approaches a crowd of spectators prior to boarding Air Force One during his visit to Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville. During his visit he delivered remarks to about 3500 Sailors, Marines and other service members. Obama also met with Gold Star families - who have lost a loved one in Iraq or Afghanistan, to personally thank them for their sacrifice.
