Richard Hunt, commander of U.S. 3rd Fleet, and John Pettitt, president of the Fleet Week Foundation, stand at home plate to be recognized during a military appreciation game at Petco Park. Fleet Week San Diego is an annual event used to show the community's support for the Navy and Marine Corps team through various events and celebrations throughout the San Diego area.
