English: SAN DIEGO (Dec. 21, 2010) A NASSCO shipyard worker stands fire watch as work continues beneath the hull of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) despite constant rain for several days. Areas of California are under a state of emergency because of severe rains and flooding. Bonhomme Richard is in dry dock for maintenance and upgrades.
