English: THUA THIEN HUE, Vietnam (May 20, 2011) Personnel assigned to the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command (JPAC) empty a suction hose of sediment into a screen during an underwater recovery mission. Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) 1 and JPAC are deployed off the north central coast of Vietnam searching for evidence of Americans whom remain missing from the Vietnam War. The mission of JPAC is to achieve the fullest possible accounting of all Americans missing as a result of the nation's past conflicts.
