English: NGHE AN PROVINCE, Vietnam (June 18, 2011) Personnel assigned to Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command (JPAC) and Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) 1 conduct underwater recovery operations off the northern coast of Vietnam. Three recovery teams are searching at burial and underwater sites for 13 missing Americans from the Vietnam War. The mission of JPAC is to achieve the fullest possible accounting of all Americans missing as a result of the nation's past conflicts.
