Description
English: BELLEVILLE, Mich. (July 22, 2011) The U.S. Navy flight demonstration squadron, the Blue Angels, practice for the Thunder Over Michigan Air Show. The event celebrates the Centennial of Naval Aviation as part of Detroit Navy Week 2011, from July 18-24, and includes events throughout the Detroit metropolitan area. Navy Weeks are intended to showcase the investment Americans have made in their Navy and increase awareness in cities that do not have a significant Navy presence. (U.S. Navy photo by Lt. j.g.
