English: NEWPORT, R.I. (Oct. 19, 2011) Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) Ray Mabus shakes hands with maritime leaders aboard the littoral combat ship USS Independence (LCS 2). Mabus hosted a welcome reception aboard the ship for maritime leaders attending the 20th International Seapower Symposium at the U.S. Naval War College.
