English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
The auction in Broek op Langedijk, which operated as a vegetables and potato auction from 1912 until 1973 where the goods were presented on a boat, has now been made into a museum. SHOTS: aerial shot of Broek op Langedijk, including auction; museum visitors look at the reconstruction of the auction; digging up of potatoes, which are then transported by boat; potatoes are made into crisps by machines in a factory. ARCHIVE MATERIAL: different of the auction.

De veiling in Broek op Langedijk, die van 1912 tot 1973 dienst deed als groenten- en aardappelenveiling waar handelswaar per boot werd getoond, is nu ingericht als museum. SHOTS: luchtshot Broek op Langedijk, inclusief veiling; museumbezoekers aanschouwen reconstructie van veiling; rooien van aardappels, die daarna per boot worden afgevoerd; aardappelen worden machinaal verwerkt tot chips in fabriek.
