Better view of this UP switcher.
UP SW10 Built as SW9 11/53, rebuilt 1/80; Sold to Farmers Grain Co-op, Cruger, IL, 8/98. This was one of 3 UP SW10's 1839, 1848, 1866 that kept their original 1800 series numbers. They became 1200-1202. There were 75 SW10's 1200-1274 rebuilt @ Omaha, NE 1979-1985 from SW7, SW9 and TR5A units. NO NW2 or TR5B's were used in this program. At least one Western Pacific and a few Missouri Pacific units were used. These were incorporated into the 1260-1274 units.
