Porträt Frederique von Bomhard, Hofdame der Herzogin Anna Dorothea von Kurland. Bomhard ist als Huhn mit Porträtkopf dargestellt. Neben dem Titel "Frederique von Bomhard" und einem Vers unter dem Bild, ist der linke Rand der Zeichnung mit einem großen und einem kleinen "H" versehen. - nachträglich mit einem Kreuz hinter dem Titel/Namen versehen [Bildunterschrift] Das Huhn legt alle Tag ein Ey/ Ein Herz und noch ein Herz sind zwey.Biografisches Frederique von Bomhard war die Erzieherin Marie Steinachs und wohl die Tochter eines Gelehrten. Sie begleitete die junge Frau nach Löbichau und Sagan. (1) Bomhard stammte aus bzw. lebte eine Zeit lang in Bayreuth und wohnte gewöhnlich mit Marie Steinach in einem Nebengebäude von Schloss Tannenfeld. (2) Der Name Bomhard ist in verschiedenen Schreibweisen bekannt. So nennt die Herzogin von Kurland die Gouvernante Maries „Frl. Baumhart“. (3) Genauere Angaben zum Leben der Frederique von Bomhard lassen sich aber nicht ermitteln. 1 Brühl, Clemens: Die Sagan.
