Čeština: Václav Ajšman (* 20. září 1896 – 30. června 1942 Praha, Kobyliská střelnice) byl za protektorátu inspektorem policejní stráže (strážmistrem) z pražských Petřin s hodností policejního praporčíka. Po 15. březnu 1939 se zapojil do domácího protiněmeckého odboje v řadách členů ilegální vojenské organizace Obranou národa. V rámci spolupráce se členy zpravodajsko–sabotážní skupiny tří králů poskytoval zřejmě poslední ilegální byt k přespání pro štábního kapitána Václava Morávka v době těsně před jeho přestřelkou na pražském Prašném mostě a jeho smrtí 21. března 1942.
English: Václav Ajšman (* 20 September 1896 - 30 June 1942 Prague, Kobylisy shooting range) was a police inspector (constable) from Petřiny in Prague during the Protectorate with the rank of police ensign. After 15 March 1939, he joined the domestic anti-German resistance as a member of the illegal military organisation Defence of the Nation. In cooperation with members of the intelligence-sabotage group of the Three Kings, he provided what was probably the last illegal sleeping accommodation for Staff Captain Václav Morávek in the period just before his shooting on Prague's Powder Bridge and his death on 21 March 1942. |
