Value added growth vs emissions growth Germany
Title
Value added growth vs emissions growth Germany
Description
Value added growth vs. CO2 emissions growth in Germany. Gross domestic product (GDP) growth of individual sectors (adjusted for inflation) versus growth in carbon dioxide (COz) emissions over the period 1995-2009. Sectors in the top left quadrant have decoupled their emissions from economic growth - whilst their emissions fell, their economic value grew. Direct emissions of households are not included.
