General Note: Bong Son bridge ;


April 1955. Destroyed Bong Son Bridge replaced temporarily by a Vietnamese army footbridge. The need for prefabricated Bailey bridging caused Colonel Kim and the author to visit Saigon in the midst of the Binh Xuyen war.
