Het Vierhouterbos (Staatsbosbeheer) is tegenwoordig vooral een natuurbos waar we kunnen genieten van majestueuze beuken van meer dan 200 jaar oud en eiken. Het beheer bestaat voornamelijk uit nietsdoen. Liggende en staande dode bomen zijn belangrijke voedselbronnen in het bos.

The Vierhouterbos (State Forest Service) is nowadays mainly a natural forest where we can enjoy majestic beeches of more than 200 years old and oaks. The management mainly consists of doing nothing. Lying and standing dead trees are important food sources in the forest.
