中文：副總統陳誠先生展開在越南共和國的訪問行程 副總統陳誠到訪越南的戰略邑(村)，鐵絲網上架著擴音喇叭，以便緊急狀況隨時通知居民。圖中居民舉槍就各自戰鬥位置，和周圍層層的屏障，可以感覺出當時越戰的緊張氣息。(註：戰略邑(村)，越戰時期，越南總統吳廷琰所推行的戰略計畫之一。將民眾管理，房舍周圍設多道屏障，有尖樁地帶、壕溝、土牆、地雷帶等，出入口皆有哨兵把守。目的在防止南越民眾武裝和與共產黨的聯繫)
