Description
Deutsch: Die Villa Gutmann in Baden bei Wien wurde 1882 von Alexander Wielemans von Monteforte und Hugo Zimmermann (1849–1924) als Sommervilla „nach den Formen der deutschen Renaissance des Mittelalters“ [1] für Wilhelm von Gutmann errichtet. Sie war bis zum Anschluss im Besitz von Rudolf Ritter von Gutmann. [2]. Die arisierte „Villa Gutmann“ war 1944 als Max Merz und Elizabeth Duncan dort wohnten, im Besitz des "Reichsgau Niederdonau". Seither gab es mehrere neue Besitzer.
