Description

Late 70s Tom Ritchey built road frame and fork.

I was told that this bike belonged to one of Tom's friends and it was ordered out of and built in Tom's parents garage around 1978. No ritchey decals remain on the bike, but fillet brazing, seat cluster, and bb are all characteristic of Tom Ritchey.

Tom Ritchey brazed frames from the 70s are rather rare. This frame was made before Tom started using serial numbers, as it doesn't have a serial number. No dents, dings, etc. There is some paint spidering on the top tube and down tube, assorted chips around the bb, and some chipping on the dropouts. All issues pictured. Comes with original fork but no seat binder bolt.
