Wallace Presbyterian Church in College Park, Maryland.

Summary edit

Description
English: Wallace Presbyterian Church in College Park, Maryland. Wallace was founded as Knox Presbyterian Church in 1910 and originally located at New Hampshire and Randolph Streets NW in the Petworth neighborhood of Washington, DC, a building now occupied by the First Baptist Church. The church moved to Hyattsville, Maryland, amid demographic changes and suburban expansion in 1959. In 1982, in advance of the merger that created the Presbyterian Church (USA), the congregation left the UPCUSA and joined the Presbyterian Church in America. In 2009, Wallace moved to its present-day modernist Carpenter Gothic-inspired campus near the University of Maryland in College Park.
