Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.; Wederopbouw van de binnenstad van Eindhoven na WO II, geconcretiseerd in de renovatie van winkelcentrum "De Demer". Puinhopen, nog stammend uit de oorlog, maar ook nieuwe, ontstaan omdat panden ivm de renovatie moesten worden gesloopt, worden symbolisch afgevoerd door burgemeester Kolfschoten en een stoet verklede zakenlieden. Stadsshots van Eindhoven; ext. winkelcentrum.
English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.; Reconstruction of the city centre of Eindhoven after WW II, as shown by the renovation of the shopping centre "De Demer". Heaps of rubble dating back from the war, but also new ones caused by the buildings that had to be taken down for the renovation, are symbolically taken away by mayor Kolfschoten and a procession of dressed up business men. City shots of Eindhoven; ext. shopping centre.
