Deutsch: Die Sprengschnur (auch: detonierende Zündschnur, Detonationszündschnur, Knallzündschnur) besteht aus einer kunststoff- oder gewebeummantelten Seele aus brisantem Sprengstoff. Die Sprengschnur detoniert bei der Zündung entlang ihrer gesamten Länge mit der Detonationsgeschwindigkeit des enthaltenen Sprengstoffes (im Unterscheidung zur nicht sprengkräftigen Zündschnur, die langsam abbrennt).
English: The explosive cord (also: detonating fuse) consists of a plastic or tissue-coated soul of explosives. The explosive cord detonates at the ignition along its entire length with the detonation speed of the explosive contained (in distinction to the non-explosive slow match, which slowly burns down). |
