English: Group portrait of William Coventry Henry Waddell (1802–1884) with his second wife, Charlotte Augusta Southwick, with their children, William (b.1843), Anne (b. 1847), and Ida (b. 1845), as well as Alice (b. 1834), Waddell's child from his first marriage. In the background at right is the "Waddell Villa," a house designed by Alexander Jackson Davis which stood on the corner of Fifth Avenue and 37th Street.
