Nederlands: Objectgegevens Titel: Witte aardewerk sputumpot met in blauw “SPUTUM” en metalen deksel, gebruikt in ziekenhuis Beschrijving: Cilindrische aardewerk pot met oor (a) en verchroomd messing deksel (b). Wit met blauw opschrift. Herkomst: Het Bergwegziekenhuis lag aan de rand van de wijk Liskwartier in Rotterdam en werd in 1908 gesticht als aanvulling op het Coolsingelziekenhuis. Door de snelle bevolkingsgroei van Rotterdam was deze laatste instelling namelijk te klein geworden. Door een fusie met het IJsselland Ziekenhuis (Capelle a/d IJssel) werden de gebouwen aan de Bergweg overbodig, afgebroken en vervangen door sociale woningbouw.
