English: : Heroes Monument /or World War I Monument/ by Sándor Somogyi (1926 stone sculpture) A path paved with stone slabs from Kossuth Lajos utca leads to the monument on the hilltop. The statue of the monument is a standing soldier with his gun in front of a little boy holding a bunch of flowers in his hand. The back shows a oak branch associated with World War memorials. On the base there is a commemorative plaque with the names of the heroic soldiers who died in the First World War. - Templomdomb (~Church hill), Ajka, Veszprém County, Hungary.
