Summary edit

Description
English: Whether this had been appropriated from another house is unknown. Certainly it was unique in the somewhat barren street where all front gardens had been sacrificed to the automobile and there was not a tree in sight. The painted brickwork next door was a common feature on Eastern Avenue, especially in grey, in the 1960s
