Description Parkanlage Vorwerk, Wuppertal.
Quer durch das Gewässer wächst ein Trupp einer Pestwurz-Art (Petasites spec.). Außer der einheimischen Gewöhnlichen Pestwurz (Petasites hybridus) ist an dieser Stelle auch mit der Asiatischen oder Japanischen Pestwurz (Petasites japonicus) zu rechnen. In der Flora von Wuppertal ist angegeben: „Ursprünglich als Zierpflanze verwildert und eingebürgert. (...) Murmelbachtal, an den Vorwerk-Teichen, sich dort seit vielen Jahren haltend und ausbreitend.“ – Doch welche Art zeigen die mehr als 30 Jahre später aufgenommenen Fotos?
