Description This is our favourite restaurant in Aberystwyth. At 21b Pier Street, Y Caban (The Cabin Coffee Bar) retains all the original charm of a true coffee shop. It has long been popular with students and politicians and the large windows are ideal for people watching. The food is delicious especially the paninis that come with a different salad every visit. They also make one of the best cups of tea in the country. While the neighbourhood dates from Georgian times many of the properties on Pier Street are now Victorian or later and my guess is this structure is early 20th century.
