English: Overview from the Witte Huis: on the Boompjes and the Scheepmakershaven, which were hit by the German bombardment of May 14, 1940. From the east. On the left the Nieuwe Maas. As a result of the bombing, the center of the city was largely destroyed.
Nederlands: Overzicht vanaf het Witte Huis: op de door het Duitse bombardement van 14 mei 1940 getroffen Boompjes en de Scheepmakershaven. Uit het oosten. Links de Nieuwe Maas. Als gevolg van het bombardement is het centrum van de stad grotendeels verwoest.
