Suggestions for improvements. edit

Here are a few suggestions for improvements:

  • Align both curves with the date lines.
  • Plot the blue bars on top of the orange bars and center both on date line. The days where the orange bars are lower than the blue are already hidden behind the ROW cumulative line.
  • Use a sans-serif font, they scale better at smaller sizes.
  • Go up to 20k on the "New" Y axis, and remove the label for the spike on the 17th/18th. We'll get there in a few days anyway.

Please also change the left y-axis for total cumulative, to millions instead of thousands x1000. -- Jeandré, 2020-07-02t06:29z
I agree, millions is preferable to thousands x1000. Mikael Häggström (talk) 19:19, 1 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Mid-Feb bump edit

Mid-Feb bump in China appears to be at least a factor of 10 too high; there were less than 100k cases in China total 96.240.129.142 00:21, 6 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

China reported "clinically diagnosed cases" from 14 to 16 February separately with "confirmed cases", then combined them as "confirmed cases" on 17 February. So "confirmed cases" increased from 51,174 to 70,635 (19,461 increase) on 17 February.―― Phoenix7777 (talk) 09:18, 6 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
