The above image is a jpeg file I have upload, can be used as a reference for the comparison of color. Arilang talk 22:50, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

To all the concerned editors: The current svg version has the wrong color, I have uploaded a more correct version for user Zscout370 to use as a reference.

The Chiang Kaisak image can also be used as a reference for the blue of the Blue sky color. Arilang talk 12:40, 14 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Logo color and triangle shapes are incorrect edit

Could someone provide the source of the current logo? It doesn't match at all the one on the KMT website - it should normally use a lighter blue and the triangle sides should be straight and not rounded. See the logos on this page or this one for instance.

I've done a version here which closely matches the one on the KMT website. Could we use it instead? WikiLaurent (talk) 20:35, 11 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Agree, Logo color and triangle shapes are incorrect.--Sekisama (talk) 16:01, 19 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

--Sekisama (talk) 13:43, 13 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I can't read Chinese. Please could you write in English? Thanks. WikiLaurent (talk) 22:57, 14 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
the white sun part of National emblem and KMT's emblem are the same. KMT's website used incorrect edition and uncommon.--Sekisama (talk) 08:36, 15 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

and, I AM TAIWANESE, I am sure that's incorrect.--Sekisama (talk) 11:27, 16 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
Sorry but the fact that you are Taiwanese doesn't mean you know the KMT emblem better than the KMT itself. They use a certain logo on their website (and they use it in many places) so I think we should use the same. WikiLaurent (talk) 21:01, 16 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
it's apparently right but actually wrong. --Sekisama (talk) 08:36, 17 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
Perhaps we should contact the KMT website webmaster to ask for his/her opinion? I've looked for a contact link on the English site but couldn't find anything. Any chance you could give it a try and contact somebody on the Trad. Chinese version of the site? WikiLaurent (talk) 12:52, 17 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
maybe you can try to delivering a letter, i have already contact them but no response yet. the website is here. [5] you can translate this page if you want to do. sincerely yours, --Sekisama (talk) 01:53, 18 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

SVG rendering edit

Hi there, I've reverted this version of the emblem as I wasn't able to display it correctly but there appear to be more displaying difficulties on Wikimedia's servers... →Nagy 15:07, 16 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
Oh well, this one's still not working for me. It might be a problem on my computer but it would be useful if someone else could confirm this file is not borked. Thanks, →Nagy 20:07, 16 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
That's weird, I can't see the picture either, however it shows up on Wikipedia or when I click directly on it. I've reuploaded the file from my hard drive but it didn't help. WikiLaurent (talk) 20:57, 16 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
Okay, the current file is the first one (!) I see working here. Thanks, →Nagy 21:40, 16 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
Ok, I got a question. Is the middle ring supposed to a full circle, because from what I am seeing it now, it is not a circle. I would try and fix it, but I need a few days to get back to the US and get set up there. User:Zscout370 (Return fire) 22:10, 19 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
According to the KMT website, it's not a circle and each triangle should have straight sides. WikiLaurent (talk) 13:03, 20 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Help to fix the image edit

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/archive/a/a1/20091018035450!Emblem_of_the_Kuomintang.svg is the right one, and the image now is wrong. -- Tusooa Zhu 06:03, 5 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

This is also a wrong version. There's some error about the sunlight.--Bigmorr 15:54, 6 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Protected? edit

3 years later, this emblem edition still wrong. Now this file protected and nobody could replace to the correct one, sigh......

It's correct shape & edge about the white sun part (illustrated at right). But we need to adjust the blue sky color to C100-M80-Y0-K20.

Why so difficult to revert the truth? --Sekisama (talk) 04:40, 6 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Unfortunately for your "C100-M80-Y0-K20" claim, there's no unique CMYK to RGB conversion; many different RGB equivalents of CMYK are possible in different contexts... AnonMoos (talk) 09:26, 13 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
As for the shape of the KMT emblem, the source of the current SVG version seems has been updated: http://www.kmt.org.tw/page.aspx?id=34&aid=2774. Should we update to the latest version? The connected sun rays was the former design and the separated version is usually seen now. --Ericmetro (talk) 07:23, 14 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
