The "gap" was not and never had been used as additional platforms, it was cab row taxis would arrive as they do in Paddington into the station pulling up right by the train, yes there where extra platforms but these were 10 and 11 the area now used by the former parcels depot and the current taxi rank pick up drop off point. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.176.139.111 (talk • contribs)
