Inaccuracies of the map edit

Based on a comparison between the version uploaded on 27 August 2023 at 08:52 and the distribution linguistic map by http://iranatlas.net, the following flaws can be seen:

  1. The map does not show any Kurdish speakers in northwestern Hamadan Province, only few speakers in Safāriz (547), Qabāq Tappeh-ye Kord (553) and Hasār-e Qojeh Bāghi (1075).
  2. Uninhabited mountains, such as those located south of Hamadan are marked with the color of Luri speakers, or the mountains in the southwestern part are colored as Laki speakers, the source lacks any data in these areas.
  3. There are Batui speakers mentioned by the source, omitted in this map.

hi
  1. Thanks. I corrected northwestern parts and uploaded a new version. Map also shows that Kurdish as a large minority language in Qatār Qui, Jaganlu and Illānlu settlements. 2. The uninhabited area in the south of Hamadan is loacated between Luri speaking people inhabitation areas and in the southwest of province that area is located between Laki speaking people inhabitation areas. As with other smaller unpopulated areas I completed it based on adjacent areas. 3. The Atlas does not provide information about the "Batui" language, and in the language classification, it only declares that it is an Iranian language. I searched about it and found out that Batui are a tribe of Kurds and they speak Kurdish. I didn't add it to the map so that showing "Batui" as a separate language would not spread false information.
