Indonesia?
editWhy indonesia is maintaining a neutral stance between israel and palestine? Doesnt they appear in text below? Today there are some sources that indonesia will support pledge of palestine. 103.195.58.84 23:33, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
- Yes the anon editor's input is correct. Indonesia's support leans towards Palestine (Channel NewsAsia article on Pres. Joko Widodo's position). Also, Brunei air their support for Palestine (article by The Star of Malaysia). JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 05:20, 13 October 2023 (UTC)
- Done, I've changed Indonesia and Brunei to orange. BlackShadowG (talk) 09:11, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
Syria
editSyria is pro-Palestine (orange): see this Reuters article. JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 05:22, 13 October 2023 (UTC)

Oceania, Caribbean and comment on Namibia
editHello, I have added several reactions from Oceania and the Caribbean for consideration. And as for Namibia, please, why is it blue when the given statement (sourced) is even more orange-leaning? CoryGlee (talk) 10:46, 13 October 2023 (UTC)
- @CoryGlee: Done, I've fixed Namibia to orange and colored Fiji, Nauru and Papua New Guinea. BlackShadowG (talk) 09:15, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
- BlackShadowG Thank you, and sorry if I sounded demanding in the prose, you are doing an amazing job, which is not easy to keep up. Thank you again. --CoryGlee (talk) 09:48, 14 October 2023 (UTC)

Change colours
editAzerbaijan's position is neutral and Jordan should be highlighted in Orange. Nothing in Azerbaijan's statement indicates that it is sympathetic to Israel and condemns Hamas. Likewise, Jordan is not neutral in what is happening. Dl.thinker (talk) 16:51, 13 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Dl.thinker: Could you please provide some sources for these? As far as I know, Working Group for Azerbaijan-Israel Inter-Parliamentary Relations condemned Hamas ([1]), Jordan didn't condemned any belligerents. BlackShadowG (talk) 09:18, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
- @BlackShadowG: [2] “We condemn violence against civilians in the Israel-Palestine conflict zone,” the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said in an official statement that came hours after the attacks. “We express condolences for tragic loss of lives among many civilians both in Israel and Gaza Strip. We call for an urgent de-escalation of the situation.”--Dl.thinker (talk) 21:01, 17 October 2023 (UTC)
Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic
edit"Evoking the serious developments in Palestine, the Permanent Bureau of the Polisario Front reaffirmed the solidarity of the Sahrawi people with the Palestinian people. For the Bureau, 'a just peace can only be realized by allowing the Palestinian people to exercise their legitimate rights in the establishment of their independent State, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital'" [3] يوسف قناوة (talk) 10:30, 14 October 2023 (UTC)

China and some other countries
editHello @BlackShadowG: . Does the Chinese Foreign Minister's inputs make China leaning towards Palestine? See this article from Xinhua.
Also, like someone said above, Rwanda leans to pro-Israel (source, via this). Sri Lanka seems to lean toward Israel too as per this source used in the international reactions article. JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 22:43, 15 October 2023 (UTC)

edit-- MaliMail (talk) 12:23, 16 October 2023 (UTC)
- @MaliMail some advice: kindly use this link format: [https://islandtimes.org/palau-condemns-hamass-attack-on-israel/] instead of using cite web templates here, because this is the talk page and all of your links you presented end up going at the bottom, generating some clutter. Somali government

A notice
editHere is the original map creator, sorry for the late reply, I've updated the map, countries that favored Palestine but did not condemn Israel are colored in orange and grey shade.
If you want to update the map yourself, please make sure to read File talk:BlankMap-World.svg/Documentation and never modify the original CSS of the file, as it will cause the map to appear strange. Thank you. BlackShadowG (talk) 04:39, 21 October 2023 (UTC)

Indonesia correction
editConsidering that President Jokowi is neutral in the war and Indonesian officials mentioned "occupation of Palestine", it would be more accurate if Indonesia is in orange and grey shade. Please fix this asap.

Russia should be striped
editSome countries should be striped
editFirst Orange-Grey stripes: Venezuela [31]
Blue-Grey stripes (condemned Hamas/Supported Israel but have called for resolving the means through dialogue/urged for restraint by Israel)
Ghana [32]
Sri Lanka
Ireland
Papua New Guinea [33]
France
editBased on what France is marked as having a "neutral stance". I see in the historial of the changes that it is because they condemned the strike on the hospital. But most countries did. In the meanwhile, France is prohibitting protests in solidarity with the palestinian people, just as Germany, the UK and Italy (Spain, for instance, isn't) and Macron didn't say anything different than the rest of the western chorus, condemning the attacks by Hamas and pointing out Israëls right to self defence, albeit within international rules. France is as much tilted towards Israël as the rest of western Europe is. Maybe the color should be changed. - 91.126.122.28 15:23, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
- Done France changed to blue. BlackShadowG (talk) 07:39, 28 October 2023 (UTC)

- UAE should be blue-orange striped MaliMail (talk) 16:56, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
- I don't think we need to striped if they have condemned Hamas, strip seems like it should only be used when the statement is ambiguous. BlackShadowG (talk) 07:12, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
- Blue-Orange stripe = Neutrality and Gray for me.
- But I think a Blue-Gray Stripe is needed. Most European nations condemn attacks from both Hamas and Israel, call for de-escalation plus also supporting Israel in general. Mavreju (talk) 07:45, 29 October 2023 (UTC)

Turkey
edit@BlackShadowG and Mavreju: Per Erdogan's latest speech, Turkey should be pro-Palestine instead of neutral. It should be move to orange. A1Cafel (talk) 03:02, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
- Erdogan also condemned Hamas for the massacres and called for de-escalation. His latest words were mostly about the humanitarian situation in Gaza (which most European nations, incl. Switzerland, France, Ireland agreed) so I'm not sure Turkey should be something other than Neutral because the statements altogether are still ambigious imho. Mavreju (talk) 07:42, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
