Sails on each mast are, top down:
- Royals
- Upper Topgallant
- Lower Topgallant
- Upper Topsails
- Lower Topsails
- Courses
Although it is true that the topgallant masts on Krusenstern continue up in one piece to the trucks, I have never seen a reference to a third sail on such a mast being called a "topgallant" -- above the two topgallants is a royal, whether on a separate mast or not. This is true in a variety of references, both British and American. See, for example File:Square rig names.gif.
Therefore, this diagram showing the two topgallants and the royals in pink is incorrect. Jim . . . . Jameslwoodward (talk to me) 12:22, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
