Disputed map
editit is conflicting with following maps.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Kurdistan_of_Turkey_(CIA).png https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Kurdish_speaking_provinces_in_Turkey.png Shadow4dark (talk) 07:38, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
- Neither of those files proves that this map is "disputed". One of them shows a "Kurdistan" which doesn't put any criteria as to what this "Kurdistan" is while the latter is solely focused on "Kurdish speaking majority". It's a proven fact that there are thousands of Kurdish exiles in the Central Anatolia who were banished from their homelands decades ago, which is only considered by this map alone. If you guys please stop deleting anything related to Kurds, it would be much appreciated. --Balyozxane (talk) 04:40, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
- None of those places are kurdish speaking majority though. "It's a proven fact that there are thousands of Kurdish exiles in the Central Anatolia who were banished from their homelands decades ago, which is only considered by this map alone." If you can share a reliable, english source from a trustable publisher instead of sources that even contradicting eachother. Look at abc.net.au one you shared, what even is that? And look at aljazeera, when you try to find the source they used for making that map you see "source aljazeera and agencies" And look at arabnews's source: "washington institute for near east policy, f. balanche, m.horan" i went to their site and looked for the same article but couldn't find it. Maybe you can send it for me? I looked for both the names they gave us but none of their article's included that map. If you can find it and send it to me from the washington institute for near east policy's website, i would be glad. Thank you. Itstherealme2 (talk) 00:17, 3 April 2022 (UTC)
This is was over the top this map makes it look like more than half of turkey ws inhabitated by kurds but nothing adds up
editI feel like this is a troll post 2001:16B8:2C5C:A200:5C91:6C6A:EA84:37C5 10:57, 25 November 2021 (UTC)
- No worser, it says majority not inhabitated. Shadow4dark (talk) 15:12, 25 November 2021 (UTC)
How is this factual?
editLike how is this factual? It clearly does not reflect reality and it's exaggerated. And on top of that, sources of this article is filled with web sites that looks like blogs that no one even knows. There is literally no trustable research on this topic and all the sources are biased or dead links. I understand wikipedia got ruined because of biased sources but alteast try your best! I'm living in one of this places that are shown as kurdish majority and we're not kurds. We have our own culture and seeing my culture getting ignored like it's nothing is saddening. And when you point out this problem, they start to blame you for being Turkish and wanting to remove the Kurdish existince and sending irrelevant links about how Kurdish language got banned 30 years ago. It's really simple! If you're going to publish an article about population distribution of a certain ethnicity, then atleast share some solid sources with well known publishers and without bias.
There are no racist or hateful reason behind my comment. Please take consideration of my comment. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Itstherealme2 (talk • contribs) 23:52, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
