It is important to specify on the Sources section the sites/papers/books/authors etc.--Codrin.B (talk) 20:28, 6 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

English version

edit

The map looks great. It would be great to have an English translation for it. Or at least an SVG version which allows easy translation. --Codrin.B (talk) 20:28, 6 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

No chance for a SVG as the reference map with the administrative limits was itself a raster map. However the map legend can be translated quite easily, even with the mundane MS Paint. Andrein (talk) 00:13, 5 April 2012 (EET)

Satu Mare County and North Tulcea County Border

edit

Hi, I commend you on the map. An awesome job as always :) I was wondering however whether there might be an error in depicting the border - I noticed that when comparing with the 2002 census map, Satu Mare county looks somewhat smaller and Tulcea counties looks a little larger? Is it because the 2002 version was not quite accurate? Constantzeanu (talk) 02:08, 19 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yep, that's right. The previous ethnic map (based on another map with the local administrative limits of Romania:http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Romania_local_administrive_units.png) had some border inaccuracies. The most evident of them were the one on the Chilia arm and the central part of the Romanian-Hungarian frontier in Satu Mare county. Andrein (talk) 00:08, 5 April 2012 (EET)

Rroma/Gypsies

edit

I see the Rroma/Gypsies show up mostly in Transylvania, when in fact Southern Romania/Wallachia, including Bucharest, has a lot of this population. I find it strange. --Codrin.B (talk) 13:55, 6 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
