Problem: incorrect structure
editThe image shows 1,1 addition and the text provides the information that 1,2-addition is also possible. The article summary on http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/anie.201000401/abstract does show 1,2 addition but curiously inside the article the images depict 1,1 addition. I have provided a more credible Jerry March cite to the article. The article should be about monoaddition not diaddition so I could remove the diaddition part. On the other hand, my anonymous opponent only bothered to check the article summary and not the article itself and declined having a discussion first on the article talk page and moved on to delete the content. - Comment moved from File page: The second thiol does not add at the site shown, and does not produce a dithioacetal. I base this on the absence of citations that indicate this orientation, and the presence of structures in the literature that show the opposite, e.g., in http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/anie.201000401/abstract Could someone please correct this and insert it into the thiol-yne article, with compatible text?
- I have fixed the image now. Edgar181 (talk) 14:21, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
