Görlitzer Bahnhof and Görlitzer Park
English: The Görlitzer Bahnhof is a destroyed railwaystation in Berlin-Kreuzberg, formerly connecting Berlin with Cottbus and Görlitz . The station was opened in 1867. Partial damaged in WW2, the last buildings were knocked down in 1976. Since the 1990s the area is used as a park, the Görlitzer Park. The name Görlitzer Bahnhof bears today a station from underground line U1 (Berlin), see Category:U-Bahnhof Görlitzer Bahnhof (Berlin).
Deutsch: Der ehemalige Görlitzer Bahnhof in Berlin-Kreuzberg war Ausgangspunkt der Eisenbahnstrecke nach Cottbus und Görlitz, die 1867 eröffnet wurde. Im Zweiten Weltkrieg stark beschädigt, wurden die letzten Gebäude 1976 abgerissen. Auf dem ausgedehnten Gelände ist seit den 1990er Jahren der Görlitzer Park angelegt. Den Namen Görlitzer Bahnhof trägt heute ein Bahnhof der U-Bahnlinie 1, siehe Category:U-Bahnhof Görlitzer Bahnhof (Berlin).
