English: Galerie KIS is a former Dutch design gallery, located at the Paleisstraat, Amsterdam, initiated by Jan Muller. It was active in Amsterdam and on a national and international active approximately between 1990 and 1997 Afterwards it went back to its core business, a breeding ground for funiture design and other urban activities. It closed its doors in 2017-18. Afterwards a new initiative, the Vrij Paleis, started at the location. (source: RKD).
