Lothian Buses: Volvo B9TL / Wrightbus Eclipse Gemini 2 (59 reg)

English: The second (of four) batches of the Volvo B9TL / Wrightbus Eclipse Gemini 2 fleet of buses operated by Lothian Buses. A total of 21 were delivered in Autumn/Winter 2009, all bearing 59 registrations (SN59 Bxx). They were assigned fleet numbers beginning at 330, a continuation of a series begun with batch 1. They were the last Lothian double-deckers to be wear Harlequin livery from new, although these were route branded (the last plain buses being within batch 1). The buses have worn two branding schemes rendered in pink, both related to route 22.

All the buses in the batch were initially turned out in Connect 22 branding, a pink scheme for route 22 originally started on batch 1 buses - see Lothian Buses: route branding#Connect 22.

Plain pink top edit

With the transition to Classic livery, all the buses were eventually repainted (with Transport for Edinburgh fleetname), initially with plain pink tops - see Lothian Buses: route branding#Plain pink top
