For MediaWiki:filepage-nofile, this should be:

No file by this name exists. {{#ifexist: {{FULLPAGENAME}} | If a file used to exist, try to {{Purge}}}}

This should make a "purge" link appear if the file description page exists, but no file. This should provide a better link to solve the various gif issues being reported (sample: COM:VP#Weird problem with image).  Docu  at 13:35, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
