Wouldn't it be better to enable such feature via java so that only users who actually need/want extended time links. Actually I myself would love to have a nice shiny pop up calendar for quick jumping. --Justass (talk) 21:08, 13 March 2010 (UTC)

Personally, I think this page is particularly hard to navigate and additional links could be beneficial.

• We can't fix some of it ourselves (Commons:Usability_issues_and_ideas#Special:NewFiles)
• There is no indication on the page how to skip backwards, just links to pages to use instead of this one
• The 12-digit-url 14-digit-url form isn't really convenient, nor easy to create manually.

Maybe this is why there seems to be a lack of people using it (COM:AN). -- User:Docu at 01:20, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

Seems to be removed in MW 1.18 (because they have an unified way to create such lists now; text came from MediaWiki:Sp-newimages-showfrom) but it's easy to add to this text (just add it here somewhere):

Toolserver died

Please remove the ~para and ~azatoth's tools pending renewal of their toolserver tools on //tools.wmflabs.org - also someone probably needs to contact the maintainers of these tools, User:AzaToth and I do not know the former one. TeleComNasSprVen (talk) 06:56, 9 March 2014 (UTC)
