New Routemaster: LT class London buses of United

Images of New Routemaster buses allocated to the RATP Group (through their operating subsidiary, London United Busways Ltd), trading as London United. In October 2013, United became the fourth operator to receive New Routemasters with the conversion of route 9, and have subsequently also been allocated the type for route 148 (February 2014) and route 10 (April 2014). While it wasn't the first operator to run the type on two routes, the conversion of the 10 was the first time any operator was using it on three routes. For these contracts the United allocation now totals 80 buses, numbered in the class specific LT series as follows:

• 26 buses - LT69 to LT94 (route 9 deliveries)
• 28 buses - LT120 to LT147 (route 148 deliveries)
• 24 buses - LT148 to LT171 (route 10 deliveries)^*
• 2 buses - LT174 & LT175 (route 10 deliveries)

The route 9 and 10 buses are based in their Stamford Brook (V) garage, while the 148 buses are in Shepherd's Bush (S).

^* - LT150 was delivered early, being the first non-red liveried bus, wearing a silver livery to mark the Year of the Bus. It first entered service on the 9, before switching to the 10.
