Licensing

edit

What is the specific licensing for these? Can they be used for commercial purposes? 66.135.149.195 15:47, 30 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

All images on Commons are available for commercial use (NC licenses are not permitted); these particular images are licensed under the LGPL, meaning there are no restrictions on use (only on derivative works). -- Editor at Largetalk 16:02, 30 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
that means we can use it for e.g. Guild Wars Wiki if we want? 84.164.87.12 20:59, 5 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
In this case, does "derivative works" mean pages? Or applications? For example, if I design a web application that has modified versions of these icons, or uses these icons in various diagrams, then does the LGPL apply to the new icons and diagrams I created? Or does it need to apply to the whole application? --68.107.34.226 20 August 2008
Perhaps have a look at http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/lesser.html? In general, it's better to ask such question on the Village pump, not on a specific category's talk page. I hope this helps. --Überraschungsbilder 02:57, 22 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

What happened to Image:Crystal Clear app KDE Resources Configuration.png? --217.6.95.140 10:22, 22 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

it probably exists under another name. --Ysangkok 14:42, 26 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
It's here now: Image:Crystal Clear app calendars.png – You can look up new locations (nearly always) through the deletion log. --Überraschungsbilder 02:57, 22 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

User 123Pie was renamed to User:ThatWikiGuy on en.wikipedia and retired obviously. Anyway, please use pages like en:Wikipedia:Village pump to ask for Wikipedia specific help. --Überraschungsbilder 02:57, 22 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

All crystal clear icons in one package

edit

All crystal clear icons in one package are now available here willhostforfood.com/access.php?fileid=30917. --ShiraNai7 17 August 2008

Hmm, one is already able to use Everaldo's (the creator's) original download option at http://www.everaldo.com/crystal/?action=downloads or (previously, at least) the download link at the website where we here mainly got the icons from, and which is linked on every Crystal icon's description page here: kde-look.org … --Überraschungsbilder 02:57, 22 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Are all these Icons available FREE for commercial use too?

edit

I am very interested to know are all the ICONS from the link below FREE to use for COMMERCIAL too? Can we use the original icons without any edit to publish in our webpage?
