The Franz Schubert Association, founded in 1997, is the organizing entity of the Schubertíada, one of the most important lied and chamber music festivals in Europe.
The Association has two priorities in the current context: support for young talent and the dissemination of the extraordinary universal heritage that poetic song and chamber music represent.
The AFS has been organizing the International Lied Wolfram Rieger Course for 25 years, with a scholarship program to facilitate access.
The final concert of the 2023 Lied Course was recorded; the Association releases the recorded files, of which it owns, to make the pieces available to the Wikimedia Commons project.
