Joy Kumar Dey (born 18 August 1983) is an Editorial Assistant at Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.


Born to a Bengali family in Hooghly, Dey helped his father to promote his business and agriculture.

Early life and education

Joy Kumar Dey was born on 18 August 1983 to a family of Business and agriculture in Nalikul, Hooghly district, West Bengal.His parents are Susanta Kumar Dey and Reba Devi. His younger brother is Dr. Sanjay Kumar Dey, working as an assistant professor at University of Delhi.

In 1999,Dey completed the secondary board examination from Kinkarbati Agricultural Institution. In 2003,Dey completed the higher secondary board examination from Daulatpur Daluigacha Bharati Vidyalaya. In 2006 he received a bachelor's degree in bio science from Raja Peary Mohan College. Later, in 2013 he earned his another bachelor's degree in medicine that is Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery from the West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Kolkata.
